FROM THE BEGINNING...

Tecwwa (Berber Origin)
Meaning of Tecwwa
Name of Berber origin for girls which means "beautiful beauty".

Our foundress, Tecwwa, is a natural entrepreneur, with an African family heritage closely linked to Handcrafted Antique Jewellery manufacturing which taught him the highest respect for craftsmanship and the inherent quality of materials.
1980 - IT ALL STARTED IN THE SUMMER OF 1980s
The big question: Do we open a cafe or a vintage jewelry shop? Thankfully, our long love affair with vintage jewelry, and Ocean-inspired jewelry won out!
1987 - We begin to team up with like-minded women and men to develop our influencer program and build our brand together.
1995 - The first iteration of Tecwwa opens in a small, northern Morocco town as a vintage jewelry shop called Tecwwa vintage style.
2013 - Modern style is combined with vintage style to make room for the Tecwwa.
2014 - Tecwwa goes online... Our best decision yet!
2024 - Tecwwa celebrates 44 years in business with a new, much-needed logo.

We believe the best way to express our interests can be done visually, hence we created Tecwwa. Our jewelry is inspired by vintage-inspired and we are happy as we get to share them with like-minded people.
All our jewelry is made handmade from Beads or Sterling silver or Stainless steel to keep its shine even when you take them with you to the ocean, literally.
ON A MISSION
Tecwwa's mission is to not only craft high-quality waterproof jewelry but also contribute to preserving and protecting our oceans.

We depend on ocean for water, food and transportation. We can have what we need from ocean without threatening ocean’s ecological balance. What we need is proper knowledge and an ecofriendly attitude. Oceans contain the largest ecology of the world with seventy percent area of the world and give shelter to billions of aquatic lives. Our careless treatment towards those marine lives will undoubtedly bounce back to us as a destruction of all the civil accomplishments of ours. Marine lives are in danger because of plastics, harmful chemical discharge, careless ocean mining, sound pollution and land run off. Our future depends on the survival of ocean’s ecological balance. We need to learn how to take care of the ocean. We, Ocean-Tecwwa, are trying to show the beauty of the Oceans so that we feel the urge of saving the oceans. We believe our effort will create awareness for an ecofriendly pollution free ocean.
